Right now, Lauren’s focused on taking some of Tor’s day-to-day tasks off his plate and trying to convince him to spend less time behind the desk and more time on the course. Lauren’s goal is to help Tor enjoy the fruits of his decades of hard work. He’s more than earned it, and she’s determined to make sure he takes some well-deserved time off here and there.

Lauren began her career at a startup right out of school, where she quickly became a key player. During her nearly decade-long tenure, she wore many hats, and by her second year, she was promoted and managing her own team. The company’s mission was to help working adults transition into medical careers, and Lauren personally guided countless individuals in securing loans or state funding to achieve their goals. To date, this has been her most personally rewarding professional endeavor. However, as her daughters grew older, Lauren wanted to spend less time commuting and have more time for them before and after school. This led her to seek a role closer to home, which brought her to the wine industry’s software sector. During eight fulfilling years, she supported over 80 wineries, managing everything from multi-million dollar allocations and wine clubs of various sizes to liaising with clients and the development team to enhance the platform’s capabilities. Lauren thrived on the daily challenges and took great pride in her work during her time there.

Today, as an executive assistant, Lauren brings years of dedication, consistency, and a knack for multi-tasking to her role—not just for Tor, but across the many facets of TOR Wines. Whether coordinating complex schedules, assisting with projects, or anticipating needs before they arise, Lauren’s contributions are integral to the smooth operation of the business. Her ability to seamlessly juggle a variety of responsibilities, from high-level administrative tasks to more intricate, behind-the-scenes work, showcases her adaptability and resourcefulness. It’s clear that Lauren thrives when she’s wearing many hats. Her dynamic approach ensures that no challenge is too big, no detail too small, and no day is ever quite the same. Don’t try to put her in a box—it simply won’t work!

Outside of work, Lauren is all about soaking up the sun, hiking any mountain that tempts her, and lounging on the sandy shores of Lake Tahoe among her close-knit circle of family and friends. Her true happiness, however, is her unwavering devotion to her young adult daughters, Angelina and Catalina, and her commitment to supporting their aspirations.
