Melanson Vineyard
Pritchard Hill

High on Pritchard Hill, surrounded by icons like Colgin, Ovid, and Continuum, Melanson is a ten-acre vineyard producing some of Napa’s most powerful and complex Cabernet Sauvignon.

Since 2013, TOR has partnered with Greg Melanson on his steep, rocky vineyard in the heart of Pritchard Hill—one of Napa Valley’s most revered terroirs. At 1,200 feet above the valley floor, the site sits above the fog line, where maximum sun exposure and cooling afternoon breezes create ideal conditions for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The rugged Sobrante loam soils, fractured with volcanic rock, give the wines their hallmark density, structure, and complexity. With its elevation, exposures, and neighborhood of legendary estates, Melanson represents the very best of what Pritchard Hill can deliver.
