Beresini Vineyard
Carneros
An old-vine Chardonnay site in the southernmost corner of Carneros, Beresini produces one of TOR’s most limited and sought-after wines.
Planted in 1988 with cuttings gifted by Larry Hyde to his longtime friend Steve Beresini, this four-acre vineyard is often referred to as Steve’s “Chardonnay Garden.” The fog-laden climate of southern Carneros and well-drained creek-bed soils combine to produce tiny clusters—often just one to two tons per acre—yielding fruit of remarkable intensity.
TOR takes the entire crop each year, working closely with Steve on every aspect of the farming. The result is a Chardonnay with a devoted following, celebrated for its layered complexity, precision, and sense of place.
